Treasures Illuminated – Australian MuseumSydney
AGB Events was originally engaged to project a series of images and animation of the 200 treasures of the Australian Museum onto the external façade of the historic institution.
The effect was stunning and the Australian Museum decided to extend the treatment to the internal Long Gallery to help engage audiences.
To showcase the 200 Treasures and story of the Westpac Long Gallery, AGB Events worked within the confines of the heritage interior to create a unique solution that used the floor as a projection surface of the Westpac Long Gallery. AGB’s Digital team animated the Australian Museum’s collection onto this unique canvas, creating a narrative of associations throughout the assets.
The Gallery was transformed from a traditional exhibition space to a dynamic immersive experience for visitors.
