Lights of ChristmasSydney
AGB Events saw a need in the Sydney community to bring people together and reflect on the season and the year as a community.
AGB Events conceived the idea for a new public Christmas tradition for Sydney in 2010 The Lights of Christmas features artistic projections onto the facade of St. Mary’s Cathedral, symbolically exploring themes of the seasons including peace, joy and goodwill. Working closely with the Archdiocese of Sydney and major presenting partner Paynter Dixon, Lights of Christmas is now Sydney’s favourite Christmas tradition.
Lights of Christmas has been successfully produced at St Mary’s Cathedral each December since 2010, redefining the way Sydneysiders and city visitors celebrate the festive season in a public environment. Each year the event attracts over 700,000 people to the Cathedral forecourt.
