Anthony BasticChief Executive Officer and Creative Director

As an international event designer, Anthony’s extensive creative talents have brought some of the worlds most inspiring event experiences to life. Anthony prides himself on storytelling which captivates and unites diverse communities.

Since founding AGB Events, Anthony has conceived and produced a multitude of successful events in Australia and internationally.

Anthony was instrumental in establishing Vivid Sydney and was associated with the event holding positions of Curator and Festival Director of Light for a decade.  Anthony also created the annual Lights of Christmas projections – a three-week, evening celebration of the essence of Christmas – another public event that regularly breaks attendance records and is now firmly part of a Christmas tradition for Sydneysiders and visitors.

As the creative leader of AGB, Anthony also developed and inaugurated The Australian Garden Show Sydney, the Lights of Boston, and produced the first two iLight Marina Bay in Singapore.  Before establishing AGB Events, Anthony held high-profile creative positions in the events industry including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney 2000 Olympics Live Sites, Rugby World Cup 2003, Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games, Centennial Parklands and Sydney City Council.

Todd SeversonChief Operating Officer

With over 20 years of international event experience, Todd has an outstanding track record of 10 Olympic Games, culminating with the role of Director of Games Services with the Rio 2016 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Todd has also worked on the Sundance Film Festival, G8 and G20 political summits, and Commonwealth Games.

Todd specialises in integrating operations and systems across the multiple business areas that are the hallmark of major events. This includes project planning, mobilisation of significant workforce teams, logistics, and client-focused services as well as developing winning proposals.

As Chief Operating Officer, Todd is responsible for business operations, sales and project acquisition, financial oversight, event project management, HR and team leadership.  Todd spearheads the delivery of a number of international creative and cultural event concepts and projects.

Giles WestleyArtistic Director

Giles is a large-scale lighting creative projection artist with a background in architecture, photography, film, design and lighting. Giles draws on a diverse skillset to deliver concepts that are creatively brilliant and technically perfect – right down to the last pixel.

Leading a team of design, animation and 3D mapping experts, Giles uses visual symbolism, metaphor, and sound to create narratives that cross cultural and language divides, bringing unity and understanding to each of his projects.

Giles believes these opportunities should not just ‘wow’ people but enrich their understanding and appreciation as well.

Tara DaviesRelationships Manager

Tara develops trustworthy relationships with our event partners, instilling confidence and transparent communications for all projects. From initial concept, throughout project development, to event delivery, Tara ensures AGB provides outstanding support to our clients, sponsors, and other delivery partners.

Louis RosaCommercial Manager

Louis ensures effective internal processes are in place for the smooth running of all projects.

Louis manages every detail of budgets, human resources and new business opportunities.

Through his management of the commercial needs of the agency, Louis oversees finance, procurement, legal, compliance, and risk management.

Gina TylerBookkeeper

Gina has extensive experience and knowledge of corporate and small business accounting management as well as the particulars of event accounting. Gina is an integral part of our team and is critical in the planning and delivery of all of our projects.

Rodney CambridgeProject Director

Rodney is a consultant to AGB from Cambridge Events which he launched in 2000. Over the following twelve years his company managed and produced over 500 projects delivering some of Australia’s most prestigious and spectacular large-scale and boutique events. These included the grand opening of Fox Studios Australia, the Sydney Harbour Bridge 75th Anniversary Celebration and, for Tourism NSW, Oprah Winfrey’s ‘Ultimate Australian Adventure’ Welcome Party with a global audience of 44 million viewers.

Rodney’s executive leadership skills are borne from 25 years of experience across the gamut of Australia’s culture and entertainment industries.  Cambridge Events supports AGB as Project Director for Parrtjima, A Festival in Light in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.

Sam ElphickProject Director

Sam has 20 years of experience working across creative, production, operations and logistics for major international events through to bespoke media previews, outdoor events and immersive brand experiences.

Sam lives and breathes the philosophy that inspiring creative must be supported by truly sound operations and production.  Sam builds teams that embody this philosophy, aligning the right people, roles, and projects for our clients.

Sam exemplifies event versatility, having worked in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, the Middle East, Israel, Canada and Brazil.

Jasmin RatherProducer

Jasmin has a passion for art and public events, with a personalised approach to clients, artists and suppliers.

Jasmin played key roles in the delivery of Vivid Light 2015-2018, as well as Lights of Christmas 2015-2017.  Jasmin uses these experiences and knowledge to lead the production team at AGB’s annual event “Parrtjima – A Festival in Light” in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.

Ruth MortonProducer

Ruth has 20 years of experience delivering events in the corporate, sporting and entertainment spheres including 13 years working with the National Rugby League’s (NRL) events team.  Ruth is in charge of AGB’s annual Lights of Christmas event in Sydney and for the inaugural year in Brisbane.

Whether for a bespoke corporate dinner for 20 guests or a televised event with an audience of millions, Ruth enjoys the challenge of collaborating on events that exceed clients’ expectations.

Olivia BradleyProducer

Through her charismatic personality and engaging approach, Olivia plans, coordinates, and delivers event solutions that thrill clients and participants.  Olivia has held a variety of roles across the gamut of events, including Vivid Sydney, LA and Beijing Motor Shows, Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, and St Vincent’s Hospital Life Gala Dinner.

Rebecca ElsonCreative Producer

With a wealth of experience within the arts, Rebecca successfully project manages productions and events with a creative energy. Rebecca embraces the challenge of events, allowing her to conceptualise, style and manage projects from end to end logistically, operationally and creatively.  Rebecca is instrumental to the success of Parrtjima – a Festival in Light, serving as Creative Producer.

Ashleigh ChappleProject Coordinator

Ashleigh joined the team as Project Coordinator, providing administrative and technical support and ensuring projects are completed on time. Her multitasking, communication and organisational skills are invaluable.  Ashleigh has made critical contributions to the success of Lights of Christmas, Vivid Light, and a myriad of other AGB projects.

Rhoda Roberts AOCreative Consultant

Rhoda is a valued consultant to AGB Events, serving as Creative Curator on Parrtjima – A Festival in Light.

Rhoda works closely with local Aboriginal artists and 40 art centres from across the desert region to develop the narrative for the event.

Among her achievements, Rhoda was Creative Director of the Awakening Segment at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, Director of Sydney New Year’s Eve (2008-2011), founder and Festival Director of The Dreaming (1994-2009), host of Deadly Sounds national weekly radio program (1992-2014), producer of Aboriginal media company Vibe Australia (1992-2014) and co-founder the Aboriginal National Theatre Trust.

AGB continues to be impressed by Rhoda’s unique talents and the amazing insights she brings to any project.
